Listening to the EP non-stop whenever I have the chance to. I ordered it a day before Marc's accident and kept thinking that I simply wouldn't go to the post office to pick it up when it arrived - I couldn't listen to his songs during these nightmarish first weeks, though somehow they were "playing" in my head all the time. So I just couldn't get over the thought that this new EP was likely the last ever thing on which his voice could be heard. And - just think! - my copy arrived RIGHT AFTER the good news on his condition appeared! Such a huge celebration - this record is so special for me now. It could be a taboo thing that I would never touch if… you know…, and now it’s one of my biggest faves. Love this new dancey stuff of his to pieces, I have a friend who keeps telling “oooh, that’s not MARC, this cold soulless electronics is not his “thing” at all, oh how I crave for some beautiful, olde-fashioned ballad!”. Well, I fell for him in his crooner reincarnation, but I find his dancey songs wonderful too, and his velvety, sensual voice lights and warms ‘the soulless electronics” up, and the mixture is perfect. Love Neo Burlesque (thankyouthankyouthankyou dearest A.! But for you I’d never have the chance to get it! xxxxx) – I reckon the dedicatee of the song is Marylin Manson’s fiancee Dita: the lyrics suspiciously reminds me the bits on her in Pleasure Palace

Errr... end of rant :-)
