La Org. Millaray Palma ha declinado mandar a una chilena a competir a Sanya, China, por la corona de Miss Mundo 2005. Esta penosa decisi�n se tom� luego que ning�n canal de televisi�n se decidiera a apoyar el certamen. La �ltima vez que Chile falt� al Miss Mundo fue en 1980.Los canales de televisi�n solo se interesan en Miss Universe y Miss Earth.
