Subject: Latex Molded Rocks help???!!!

I tred using mold builder liquid latex to mold some rocks, and then cast them with bondo/resin mix. I had 1 problem the first one I tried, I didn't get all of the bubble popped in the latex before it dried, so the rock had a bunch of holes in it when I removed the " rock" from the mold. I re-cast 3 other rocks, thin lasyers at a time over several days, and let each coat dry completley before putting next one on. I put a total of about 6-7 coats. I just mixed up some bondo/resin mis, and when I tried to put the coating in the latex molds, th mold wouldn't retain it's shape, it was too flimsy, and looked nothing like the rock, but I had NO bubbles this time. I made a flange to suspend the mold by so it could hang naturally, but the weight of the casting mix caused it to sag and distort the latex mold. What am I doing wrong. I am very pleased with the detail that the molds held. Do I need more coats of latex, or how can I re-enforce the mold to hold the shape of the rocks I am molding???? Any help would be great. Thanks
