Scott,you can't get that much stretch out of your tan capes.Theform wuill need to be within a 1/2 to 3/4 or you will tear your thinned capes.I have been there and done that,,lol,,Make the manakin close as possible on sanding and cutting out form and sanding to almost fit.

On the the nose to Eye(A measurement) you can saw just about 1/2 way between nose tip and corner of eye and shorten the manakin and bondo back together and then sand down and shape,following the contour back like it should be.Larry
