I used the synchron eyes when I first started out and didnt have good results with them. I now use clay and the white banded eyes too. I think you need to make sure that your clay work is allowing the white to show before you mount and tuck. A great tool to use if you are just setting standard shaped eyes and your not after any particular expression is the "Qwik-set eye tool". WASCO sells them. Place your clay and eye in a general fashion, then place the eye tool on the eye and move the clay down to it and you will have the general shape of the eye. Once you mount and tuck place the tool back on the eyes and move the skin down around it and yipppeeee you have a nice looking eye, give it a try.
