In my opinion, and I dont claim to know everything, im sure there are others far more experienced than me. If a mount is turned to the right, some will show white in the front corner of the right eye and in the back of the left eye giving the appearance that he not only is turned right he is also looking right. Now. even on straight mounts I have found that you can show a hint of white in the rear of the eye if you are giving the deer an alert expression their eyes will be open more and show more sclera with a more relaxed look their eyes will be closed more and wont show as much in the rear.
Just my two cents.
Have fun
Steve
