In reply to: Jim 's message, "safty acid ?" on 22:27:47 11/18/04 Thu

THis safety acid I love and use exclusively and I would be willing to bet that he needs to check and make DEAD CERTAIN that he get the SALT in and around the base of hat ear very well, sound like to me that its noyt getting the salt that e needs, also flesh around the ear base very well.THat should fix him up.SALT and leave in the salt for 1 week NOT 2 or 3 days.During the wet time of fall and winter SALT slows down to a crawl because it grabbing moisture out of the air instead of the hide or cape. Its veryimporetant that where he salt hs capes be dry and just warm enough in that room to dry the air moisture content, that way the salt will cure the hide not draw moisture from the air,,That WILL work Jim,,Larry
