I always use tanned skins for mounts, even my birds I will use Tru Bird Tan. But there are many people that insist a DP mount will last as long as a tanned mount. Some follow the rule of "preserve a mount, tan a rug" Even small mammals such as squirrels I will try the Krowtan 2000. Anyone here ever use it? Asher
