To start with, I don't have an EZ car so my opinion may not count for much but I am gonna try to run some 7.0 next year.
To me, EZ shouldn't be an unlimited budget class, that's what Outlaw 10.5 is. Many people would love to do some heads up racing in a class that they can afford and be competitive in. Not everyone wants to bracket race or run in an index class. Saying "if you don't have the money to have an unlimited engine combo, you should just run bracket"
is not a good attitude towards your fellow racers. Most of the guys are being realistic about the class and it seems even the faster guys are willing to put some restrictions on
power to make it more feasible for your average racer.
