Subject: Entry level class

I have followed ORSCA from the very beginning as it took shape begun to grow and gain popularity. Just like anything with growth comes change. From the stand point of the organization change is going to have to take place in order to continue to grow in a successful manner. This is going to mean that more rules are going to have to be put ins place to help control and at the same time help build the organization into a first rate operation.

As a former street racer I have participated in many bracket classes but that is not where I would like to be. To me EZ street looked as thogh it was going to be the best place for me and my turbocharged, sbf mustang "street car" when it was completed. But after witnessing cars that could just one year ago have been in the thick of things with LS this year running in EZ. I have been discouraged once again. If sit back and look at it EZ street is on its way to becoming another version of LS with nothing more than tire change. Honestly there should be some restrictions placed on this class otherwise it is going to become a situation of who has the most $$$$. I mean how long is it before we see a $35,000 SB Fulton sitting under the hood of one of these cars. For those that are complaining about rules then maybe it's time for you to step up to LS.

As for some basic guidelines:
Turbos max:SB 88mm 3250lbs
Nos SB 2 stages fogger/plate 3100
NA 3000

Stock style suspension ie: bolt on replacements.
K-members allowed

My goal is to one day run 10.5 but until then I will be runnig EZ. By the then they will probably be running 4.30 consistantly.
