John, I know plenty of turbo vendors (some very well) I'm building a turbo car myself. I have not had much experience with the big frames but I think your talking about clipping down a 101 to fit an 88 housing but it's still not a true 101. Your still restricted by the inlet where on a real 101 you aren't.I have seen this done on some class turbo's like reducing a 76 to a 70 and so on.
