Subject: Get your Facts Straight!!
In reply to: Jake 's message, "Turbo Rules (READ)" on 11:22:39 11/15/04 Mon

Did you race in the NMRA this year? I guarantee you did not. I did and I run an 82mm setup. NO 82mm TURBO CAR ran anywhere close to 170 this year...PERIOD. The fastest mph was 164-165 for the turbo cars, this was done by Dave Hopper and Peter Champani. The average mph for the turbo cars were 158-162 which is nowhere close to 170 as you stated. The only cars that ran 170 were 2 of the blower cars and they only did it twice. The 1/8 mile times for the 82mm turbo cars were in the 5.60 range. Get your facts straight.
