Subject: guys let me say this about huntsville

I tried to make it as plain to every one months before the race that huntsville was a race not just for us select group that we always run. It was set up right from the start to be a race that drew cars from every point of the earth . Some of the cars that came to that race had never even heard of or raced in ez street . some didn't even know what class they were supposed to put on thier tech cards if you can believe that . ORSCA has one tech man thats all it has ever had . if we had teched every car like we do in a normal orsca race you would still be waiting in the staging lanes to run right now . I don't see how any of you can sit there and expect every car in the world that have never even heard of ez street to fit your car exactly to our rules. Hell you don't even all have that in this class all over just one state.this class has been running under orsca rules for less than a year. In time as this class grows this will eventually happen. ORSCA took the ez street class in its organization not because it was a huge great class and we knew we were going to make money . every race we saw had 3 and 4 cars in it. Hutsville race was the biggest race in heads up history of course it had the biggest of every thing including problems. why do you think no one else has ever tried it. If it was easy and all worked perfect every one would do it. A few other tracks have tried to do what orsca has done twice. they had less than 75 cars and had many of the same problems. How about trying this first. Lets get a good set of fair rules that build up this class with racers. Make it grow before you try to tear it down and maybe next year we won't have to worry about cars that don't even know what class to write on their tech cards . we will have a class that can put on a show without cars from every point of the earth
