The idea that the WWE will get better hinges on a couple of things.

Will the WWE actually acknowledge what the fans want?
The fans have been wanting things a certain way for awhile now. Long gone is the era of attitude and with it the likes of Austin and Rock dominating and Foley taking huge bumps to the delight of the crowd. So in essence the WWE needs to concentrate on a few things.

1. Better in ring product and less bad gimmicks: The WWE is filled to the brim right now with guys that either have a bad gimmick that can wrestle(see Simon Dean ECW's Nova) or guys that have a bad gimmick and also can't wrestle(See Heidenrich and Snitsky). The fans don't want to see bad gimmicks and characters that are to human. Part of the draw of pro wrestling is that the characters are larger than life. Super Hero's and Super Villians out there fighting for good and evil and if the WWE doesn't realize that they have to put on good matches and good gimmicks then they will continue their downward spiral in 2005.

2. In my opinon they need to build new stars right now before they lose the chance to have some older stars put the new ones over. They botched Randy Ortons push compeletely and his heat is all but gone. Now they have him hooked up with Stacy Kiebler and that really is the touch of death for any face having to protect a woman and not go after a title. It makes him look like more of a wuss. They have pushed Batista right to this point but don't doubt that they will botch that somehow. Bradshaw is the champ on Smackdown...yipe...there are no new stars being created there and something needs to be done on smackdown soon to save that brand from death. Push Charlie Haas for gods sake! He has the in ring talent, the look, its all there just let him go! The crusierweights are full of potential (London and Akio to be more direct) and if they let the crusierweight division go wild they could have some really amazing matches.

All in all what the WWE needs to do is just write a better show and push new stars with that can wrestle while they still have the chance to build them up. Now the question is will they actually do it? Hard to say but i can tell you one thing they won't do. PUSH THE CRUSIERWEIGHT DIVISION. Its possible that they don't want the crusierweights overshadowing the uppercards at any one time and we all know that in WCW they did it on a regular basis. With Rey, Chavo, Funaki, London, Akio, Kidman and whoever else they may or may not bring in(Super Crazy has been rumored) they could do so many amazing things but yet they stay relegated to off again on again pushes that end with nothing.

Will the WWE create new stars? Yeah they will but they won't be able to wrestle like the old school boys could. For instance. The Masterpiece Chris Masters i believe is his name. The guy is a muscle bound steroid takin guy that i bet can't wrestle a lick. But yet when he shows up he will go over people like Hurricane or Val Venis and other lower mid card guys that can wrestle and deserve the push more than he does. Its THIS kind of treatment that makes other wrestlers want to go elsewhere for work and I for one hope that they get the chance to do so. By the way if anyone wants to see a promotion that really knows what they are doing check out Ring of Honor. They are the modern day ECW and are slowly expanding all over the North East and Midwest. Check their website for a list of shows and if you don't know what show to get just ask me! I'll tell ya! Thats my rant take it easy!
