Digital storytelling is such a powerful way to make content feel more human and engaging, especially when we're all so tired of generic digital noise. I’ve found that the best way to really connect with an audience is to lean into that "perfectly imperfect" aesthetic that makes a story feel authentic and grounded. I was actually experimenting with some retro-style visuals for a project recently and found this great breakdown on the Skylum blog about polaroid vs instax https://skylum.com/blog/polaroid-vs-instax . It really helped me decide which analog vibe would best complement the narrative I was building. It’s funny how understanding the nuances of old-school film can actually make a modern digital story feel so much more personal.
