It has always been the intention of the festival committee and the sponsoring organization to announce our new director at the pageant on Saturday night. The reasoning behind this was we did not want the fact that Millie is stepping down as director and AK is stepping down from the pageant committee to detract from the pageant itself. We have a great bunch of contestants for tomorrow night and this should be about them. I will be happy to post a message on this board, and on any other, announcing our new director first thing Sunday morning. Until then we intend to focus on the pageant tomorrow night and finding out who will be the new royalty representing the 30th Anniversary Edition of the Louisiana Crawfish Festival.
