And you know what, it is ok. Just b/c a girl wants to compete in another pageant does not mean she is not a good queen. You can travel on Saturday and promote your festival and on Sunday afternoon compete for these pageants that don't require anything of you.

We all pick on girls b/c they want to hold multiple titles, but what about other activites that take her away from traveling? Cheerleaders who preform on a Saturday night, sorority functions that stop them from traveling, any number of organizations these young ladies belong to that get in the way of traveling.

Then you say, well if you have too much to do already you should not compete. But then again if a festival contracts you for 10 events, and there are 10 weekends out of 52 that you can do stuff, so you compete and win. Then others complain that you are not doing more. I personally feel that a good queen is one that does what she is contracted to so, does it well and believes in the organization she is working for. If she can do that, and compete for another pagant title, and she is given verbal premission, then there should be no issues.
