I buy medicated shampoos, antibiotics, dewormers (inc. heartworm), and vaccines all of which would normally need a RX from a vet, from livestock catalogs. You have to know the dosage of the drug for a dog because they are all labeled for livestock and the dosage usually is not the same as for a dog as for cattle, swine, etc.
I usually use Revival or KV Vet, but sometimes I use JB Wholesale or Foster and Smith. JB has everything you need for taping up ears, the others don't carry skin bond.

(you might have to leave out the www's)
Revival is good cuz if you get antibiotics from them they will send a dosage sheet that tells the dosage for dogs.
I have never had any sort of problem using any of the products that I have purchased thru these catalogs. The antibiotics are all labeled for fish, but they are the exact same drug, just packaged differently. Heck, I have even taken the fish antibiotics myself when I was bitten while breaking up a dog fight. Ditto for my husband. That way we didn't have to go to the doctor for the antibiotics where we would have to report a dog bite.
I'm not advising you what to do with your dog because then I would be practicing vet. medicine without a license, but I am telling you what I do with my own dogs.

Sincerely,
K. Harris
