Dari Ibnu Abbas radhiallahu 'anhuma juga bahawasanya Rasulullah s.a.w. bersabda - dalam berdoa: "Ya Allah, kepadaMulah saya menyerahkan diri, denganMu saya beriman , atasMu saya bertawakkal, ke hadhiratMu saya bertaubat, denganMu saya berbantah - menghadapi musuh-musuh agama." "Ya Allah saya mohon perlindungan dengan kemuliaanmu, tiada Tuhan melainkan Engkau, kalau sampai Engkau menyesatkan diriku, Engkau Maha Hidup yang tidak akan mati, sedangkan semua jin dan manusia pasti mati."
