Subject: [ the Outsider ]

Slowly the man and horse entered the landscape, the rusted truck and trailer having died a few kilometers back up the road from the impressive structure. However, it was a one-way road, and the man had every intention of leading the prancing stallion to the woman's doorstep. Having seen the unknown female's advertisment, and having been unable to part with the stud at the market, he had travelled to this place to leave the stud.

Too younge to be completely unaffected by change, the stud's nose was high in the air as the pair traveled the long path, his roving sences greedily snatching every scrap of his new surroundings they could find.

His grizzled hands working slowly to aviod the pain of arthritis, the lead was tied to a fence post, sturdy in its knot and durability. Finally, without sentiment, the man turned and started the walk back to his truck, glancing back only briefly at the stressed call of the stallion to assure his position at the end of the rope. The truck firing after a brief struggle, the man was soon gone over the horizon.

Far from frantic at the old man's dissappearence, the call eched merrily off the brick structure at his flank and floated over the meadows beyond him, sure to reach at least some living being in the fortrice.

Name: Atheling
Breed: Bedouin Arabian
Gender: Stallion
Age: 4
Colouring: Dappled Grey
Disposition: A rare and ancient breeding of desert arabian, this stud is wise beyond his time. The Bedouin prized intelligence and wisdom in their mounts trusting in their powerful steeds to take them safely through the deserts. Though, like his close cousin, the Egyptian, the Bedouin arabian is a solid mass of energy and nerves.
Conformation: Speed and stamina were only second to brains in the carefull breeding program of the Bedouin, for the desert mounts had to've been able to withstand the harshest of climates and most terific of storms. The deadly temper of the desert has left the Bedoin with an outstanding conformation of sleek lines and hard muscle. A determining quality for the breeding of a stud is the power of his haunches and shoulder, of which this stud has plenty.
