 The thing is, i'm leaving on saturday for harvard, and it will be my farthest step out from home. i'm so incredibly nervous, because i'm going to be at least six states away from anyone i know, and everyone there will like seafood and i'll be a pariah and a fliver* and i'll be the quiet girl down the hall who mysteriously disappears.

i need someone to tell me that people will like me.

*recently found "The Book of Slang" compiled in 1975 and have decided to set out on new obscure foot.
