Exactly.
The fan boards that remain today were the ones that managed to create good environments for people to simply connect with other people who liked the music as much as they did. They survived in spite of how hard that was to achieve, if you look back on the boards that came and went. The ones still here I think we can thank the board hosts who didn't let bad attitudes run them down. A big hats off to the host here, and the host at Ever On deserves a nod as well. I think he only once had to wave goodbye to a poster. She only ever showed up to say how much she hated the place and so he solved her problem by banning her. Fixed the board's problem as well and so it still is in existence today.
Considering that Dan is gone, these boards probably mean a great deal to some people. If ever there was a time to graduate from junior high, now would be it.
