My daughter was in the group also and didn't place but I had the winner picked and a couple of the runners up before it started! The little girl who won was adorable! I don't know how she did on stage but she was a pretty little girl! My daughter was in the first group as well for collective and I do wish they had let them all come on stage at the same time also or at least in two rows and then switched them! But at crowning that stage was PACKED and who knows if it would have changed the outcome! They were ALL cute little girls and all did so well!! Like your child, I thought mine showed lots of personality too and I'm sure it was a tough decision! We had so much fun and met so many nice people!! All in all we had a good experience! It was a very well put together pageant and we hope to be back next year too!!!

Hi moms my daughters has been in pageants since she was 10 months she is now 6,she has never competed at this state pageant(she has done a preliem)but,all directors will tell you with little ones to do what ever it takes to make them happy.Talk to them bounce they and family wave or make noise while they are on stage. My daughter has also been in pageants where they break the group up for collective,the judges need to see the girls if they are all cramed on the stage they can not see them.
I know it is very hard when our little ones do not place ever we feel they should I know I have been there with my daughter too. The best thing you can do for your daughters is to let them know how well they did and how PROUD you are of them,and to encourge them to do their best.

I am VERY proud of my daughter! And I told her! She did everything she was suppose to do..and had fun doing it! I thought she did a great job on stage...and that's all I asked of her! Of course every parent wants their child to win! But with 18 girls in a group only one leaves with the crown and the child that won was deserving of it! I can truly say all the moms/dads were SO nice and I think we all had fun! All of our kids were winners in each of our eyes and that's what really matters!! We'll just go back and try again next year!!
