Subject: Questions about 2008 LMSC

Could anyone tell me how important it is that my daughter learns the pageant walk before the upcoming LMSC pageant. She is in the younger group (5&6) and it says they don't judge on modeling but I was wondering if that's completely true. And how can you teach a child to make sure they smile the whole time they are on stage. Any info would help. And if you've been before, is the stage time long. She can do the T but gets through rather quick because she doesn't know how to do the turns and all.

They do not walk a "T". They come out from side stage, walk to center, down the runway, then to "x" in front of judges (which is from the same side they enter on) and then exit the same side....something like that. They really do focus more on smiling and looking like they are having fun. I hope this helps some!I would email director if have questions. She will have time to practice when she gets there to register.Good Luck
