So.... what is TFC?
The $1000 Crown. Girls crown weighs over 4lbs - hand dipped in 22kt gold and filled with Swarovski crystal stones. Every year the crowns color theme changes. This year, it is in Ruby crystal. The boys $500 crown matches in color - it is strikingly regal and comes with a $500 cash award as well. Both are awarded with custom and personalized velvet robes and satin sashes. The girls crown additionally comes with a matching double-sided scepter. The national crowns also change in theme to match to "big" crown.
It's a contest that awards points to many of the photo contest and pageants that you probably already enter. Also award points when you attend pageants as TFC or royalty to an affiliate pageant. And you may also claim points by using one of their many vendors, referring your friends to TFC and/or by referring new pageants or photo contest to TFC!
Throughout the contest as you climb the ladder www.thefinalcrown.com/ladder.html (will be updated Feb 2) and you receive wonderful little gifts from TFC to keep you motivated. Maybe you've even seen the "1000" pin before..?
Once you are a "Finalist" at 2500 points you become truly eligible for the $1000 crown (or the boys $500 crown)should everyone ahead of you that is also a finalist, not show to nationals to claim it! Also, for becoming a finalist you earn discounts off to nationals.
It's a low $25 to enter, and $45 in gifts back in return..and you can earn points just on free contests if you want..it's a great deal! The contest just opened for 2005 on January 1- it's ANYONES game at this point - why miss out? Contest closes midnight on November 30, 2005.
The Bring-a-friend discount has been extended until FEB 28! Earn 60 points (and they start off with 60 too!) all they have to do is reach 350 points by November-thats EASY!
