Oppps.. Sorry for my misunderstanding. In fact, I know you're just testing but I don't know whether you want to use the layer tag for some reasons.

Me too ;).. I tried to modify the encoding but failed. I guess the layer technology is still "young" so the coding hasn't been concerned yet.
