Rome has invaded big parts of Britain, gaining more and more land to their increasingly large Empire. In the battles fought over Sarmatia, only some few survived the Roman forces. These sole survivors were warriors of the Sarmatian land, brave and with great skill, and the Romans were impressed enough to spare their lives in exchange for their loyalty. This was perhaps a great mistake for the Sarmatians, for they doomed not only themselves, but also their sons and their sons again, to serve Rome for 15 years of their life. The Sarmatians stayed a people of great bravery and became knights of great skill, but they were always after only one thing – survival until they would be freed and could return to their homelands, their families and their futures.

Arthur is the leader of the Sarmatian knights. He is a dedicated Christian and wishes to eventually return to the Rome he believes in, an Empire where personal freedom is of great importance. Despite this call, however, he sees his first duty to be the Knights of the Round Table. He wants to lead them through their knighthood and see them eventually become free men who can return to their homelands. Between the men there is a deep loyalty and trust, despite all their differences. They have been through many battles together; seen many of their fellow Knights die, but the ones who are left keep their hopes and their pride.

The Romans, however, are about to pull out of Britain, something Arthur can only see as a way to true chaos. The Saxons are invading in the Highlands, and the Woads – rebellions who try to free Britain from its invaders – are lurking in the forests. Anything can happen.

In this time of war, which side do you pick? The side that wins the most battles, the side that fights for your people’s rights, or do you simply wait for the invaders to come upon you? Do you fight with your own people even though the chances of winning are few, or do you stab them in their backs?
