In the end of it all, the Dark Ages, no parchment of paper held the story in which had really unfolded itself in those desperate years of life. No person spoke of the horrors in which they had seen executed on the silenced and the hidden. Let's take you back to where it began.

Fear had zipped through the immortal species; the Vampires. They had done nothing to deserve this imprisonment in which the humans brought upon them in slays and tortures until they behaved. Until they calmed beneath the chains snapped around them. Until they hid their teeth from the glares sent to them by the human's. The slaves, the mistreated, mistrusted, and misplaced figures of society. No one cared. If the human's labor was done then they were fine, they didnt mind the lingering presence of the vampiric beast in the background which had receeded to but a mere fly in the room and thought such evil thoughts; such vile things of their masters. Who wouldnt?

The demons had always found comfort deep within the forest. But guess who had to invade with their swords and knives and hatred for everything abnormal? You guessed right. Humans. The word was said with so much hatred these days. They were taken captive- though their fight was a good one and they found themselves working forcefully alongside the submissive Vampires. Thats what they seemed; submissive. Really they were just silently readying themselves for their break. That was when the vampire, Raelin, came to the most aggressive demon, Edan. "Help" was what they needed. The vampires were strong but their population was running thin from the lack of feed, of blood being given. The demons, grudgingly, agreed.

So the breakout happened; swift and easy. The king fell beneath the teeth and the fury of the vampires and the demons. Then the humans had the tables turned. They were the slaves. A few managed to escape into their hidden encampment while the demons left for their home again and the vampires settled in where they were. But tension is about to break loose between vampires and demons, and all the while the humans are plotting their revenge.
