Subject: First Days at Eleuthera

Hello, everybody~
I think it is time for us to start telling stories about our life at Eleuthera. I'm sure that you military guys could come up with better ones than I have.

I remember my first night on the island. I stayed with my sponsors in Governor's Harbour. This was in mid-August. It was sooooo HOT and soooo, sooooo HUMID. They didn't have any air conditioning. I remember being so miserable that first night. I took a bath and couldn't get myself dry. And I think I stayed awake all night thinking "What have I gotten myself into?" In a couple of days I moved into a room in the BOQ (with air-con). That's when I began to make an adjustment to my new duty station.
