Many people have been unhappy with the new PvP system and others have been
confused by it as well and have taken some harsh hits against some lame, really annoying
players. So I’ve decided to use the knowledge I’ve picked up to put forward what should
be the best strategy to beat even level 44 players when you’re 25, and the best way to
train your character to be really good in a matter of days. This will contain many spoilers
so if you are still having fun working out the new PvP systems for yourself don’t read on.
And special thanks to Wormwood and Sambob182 for providing a list of all mini games.
(See bottom for a detailed analysis on cost effective way to maximize your buffed stat)
Basis of the new PvP

- Buffed chosen stat vs. Opponent same buffed stat
- Raw chosen stat vs. Opponents same Raw Stat
- Buffed random other stat vs. Opponent on same buffed stat
- Random mini games (I will put advice on how to win these)

Buffed Chosen Stat:
With the buffed stat, It’s pretty clear what needs to be done. For this you should
buff one stat to the max (recommendation of Moxie based on study shown at the bottom
of the thread in combination with the equalizer potion). Unless it’s clear his or herMoxie
will be high (i.e. a much higher level Accordion Thief or Disco Bandit), use this.
Although common sense should tell you what a certain character’s worst stat is,
and keep in mind few people continually buy equalizer potions, buffing Muscle may be a
better alternative. It’s too hard to make a foolproof plan on this, but that is the best advice
I can give.
This is one that you might be able to win, but particularly in high level fights the
defender may use an equalizing potion and buff to the max, and in many cases of fights I
have had, it was impossible for me to win this

Raw Stat Vs Raw Stat:
Again raw stat Vs Raw stat is very similar. If you have unbalanced stats work out
what level you would be for each stat. Then when it comes to attack an opponent you
will know one of his or her stats (e.g. your Moxie is 670 and you see a level 25 Disco
Bandit, you know you have better raw Moxie than he does).
Again bear in mind, other than the top players, usually a character main is his or
her best. To know if someone’s stats are unbalanced check his or her turn numbers taken
and his or her current record. (Low turns and poor record suggests the main stat is highest
and vice versa).
Therefore if attacking THIS one, you should DEFINITELY WIN with only a
slight bit of research.

Buffed random stat:
This is the hardest one to continually win. My philosophy is that even with this as
a loss, you can still clearly win. And if one of your weaker stats is able to beat possibly
his or her best than you were going to win anyway.
Unless your prepared to spend over 200k daily to fully buff up all stats and keep
them buffed for every fight, this is one you should prepare to allow the defender to win.
So yep, Be prepared to take one OUCH

MINI GAMES

DUE to popular request I will reveal how to win the FASHION CONTEST.
Something that has puzzled many players including myself until a few days ago (and trust
me its one that is a guaranteed win for the attacker)
What I love about the mini games now are that you can win a fight against a
better player than you without even buffing at all (In fact having no buffs helps). If you
secure the raw stat (which with common sense and a look at your opponent you should be
able to do) and win both mini games, then the two buffed rounds won’t even matter.

Mini games you’re guaranteed to win
Familiar Kills: I personally have a leprechaun I used daily at the Icy Peak, but
many will not have a fam with 1000+ kills. So I recommend before even starting PvP
you train a familiar in the Arena to a high stat. To ENSURE a win, look at your
opponent’s profile and look at his or her familiar kills; if this is less than yours, you will
definitely win!

Fashion show: (this pains me to say as I have WON many fights over this
particular round). The fashion show is based on item power (your hat, sword and pants).
Yes, you thought your giant needle was worthless but this in fact is the best weapon for
the fashion round. In fact, the best outfit to have is:
Star Hat (150 power)
Giant Needle (160 power)
Furry pants (160 power)
ACCESSORIES MAKE NO DIFFERENCE TO THIS
Again let me remind you, Buffed stats are not needed to win fights. And even
limitless meat to get an outfit will add no more than 40 points to your stats (and that’s
Mafia stuff) Even so if such small differences make you care. Radio Hat is also 150
power. And Star Crossbow/Sword is 150 power and they help out your stats.
So to ENSURE a win in this field look at your opponents profile again and look at
his or her outfit’s power. If it is low don’t worry, but remember 380 is the MAX (other
than Boozer’s Mahi Fez), so just make sure you have at least 10 power more than your
opponent as a draw will result in a loss for you.

MINI GAME CONTESTS YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO WIN WITH LITTLE
PROBLEM
# Papaya war - Greater number of papayas in inventory wins.
No-brainer. Keep as many papayas as possible in your inventory. These are in the
Palindrome (Wear a Talisman-o-Nam), and you also get limes as well which are good for
Fuzzbumps. This is a hard contest as many of the big name players have thousands from
their clan stash or the 668 abuse. Still, I recommend getting as many as possible, and
while you can’t guarantee a win, with the right amount of meat should be a little
problem.

# Canadianity - Most White Canadians drunk wins.
The Canadianity trophy requires that you drink 30. Assume that everyone has
drunk at least that many. If you want to be lazy drink 32, If you want to be the best drink
them daily for weeks and you will know you will win.

# Purity - Least number of effects wins.
Try to minimise buffs or employ buff-casters to cast multiple effects on a target.
Basically if you want to be sly get a low level Accordion Thief to cast one of each buff
on your opponent while not buffing much yourself (remember only buff your main; it
will help out especially on this)

Sadly the part of PVP that you can’t control
# Drunkenness - Highest drunkenness wins.
PVP early in the morning after drinking your White Canadians. Attack with 19
drunkenness and hope they haven’t logged on yet. Never can be guaranteed, but likewise
if you attack late at night they will have most likely eaten. So, you will either win
drunkenness or pie eating. These are the only parts of PvP down to luck. Let’s just hope
neither come up (just ensure you’re slightly drunk when PvPing)

# Pie-eating - Least satiation wins.
Defender has the advantage if a draw occurs.

# Vacations - Least number of shore trips wins.
And at the end of the day, raw stats are a greater factor, so feel free to repetitively
shore. My only advice is look at your opponent’s turns taken; if it is more than you, then
you may have a chance at this. Otherwise just hope it doesn’t come up or you get lucky.

In conclusion. The tactic for the player who wants to rule is to train up their fam,
drink White C’s, Buy papayas and when you have time, train up one individual stat
(preferably your main so as you level you gain more stats from each trip thus getting a
high raw stat quicker). Using this method your buffed stats don’t matter as much, but if
you’re rich and want to win you should still go for it; you’re never 100% guaranteed to
win both mini games, but this tactic makes it more likely. For the person that does want
to buff up

Potions
I have now updated from an old thread the percentage you could increase your
Muscle, Mysticality, and Moxie, and how much it would cost. This should also be useful
to the semi-hardcore PvPers that want to take down the top guns that don’t already know
this. And although I was tempted, I chose not to include the best EQUIPMENT or to
include the small point gains such as Dill Potion or Smile of Mr A.
One small thing I never fully understood. When wearing the wolf mask, the
Complete Delusion’s effects are +4 Muscle, +5 Moxie, and furry pants do nothing.
However when the full wolf costume is worn Moxie is reduced by 50%. Mistake or is
this a unique type of costume, as no others do this. I would really like this cleared up.

TO ALL
Potion of temporary gr8tness 18,000 Meat
100% of their base values

Grapefruit juice of powerful power 13,000 Meat
50% of their base value.

cosmic lemonade 14,000 Meat
Mysticality by 100%

Moxie by 100%

can of hair spray 10 Meat
Moxie by 15%

Mafia Aria 5,000 Meat
Moxie by 60%

Goofballs 1000*times bought
Moxie +20% first six uses only

“Izchak’s Blessing” (found in large box) 1000meat (roughly)
Moxie +25%

Temp Moxie boost 400 meat
Moxie +10%

Total % increase = 380% 49,910 [b]

Affordability to buff
Mus (96 meat per %) But 66,990meat to Buff to the max.
Mys (159meat per %) But 61,400meat to buff to the max.
Mox (131 meat per %) 49,910meat to buff to the max

To attack someone fully buffed will only cost 49,910 meat (all the Moxie potions)
plus a stat equaliser (Chalky Equality if your Muscle is your highest stat or alarming
strawberry juice if your Moxie is highest, to ensure your Moxie is at max possible)
However with the new system, a second buffed stat is measure so to even attempt a win
at that, may cost more meat.
Also I see little need now in bothering to make a list of Dill potion and Smile as
past 100 stat points they’re really ineffective.
