Regarding nominations, The way I look at it every team I have played for the captain plays an important role for motivation of players, standing up for the team, heart, dedication for playing and to the team, knowing the rules of the game (important), and especially at our age being able to control the bench. For our team, being able to have an open communication with our multi cultural team is very essential if we want to succeed.

Jacek P. fits this role, he has showed all of the above and has the dedication to lead us.

As for Assistants go, Pawel T. and Marek W. are my picks. Pawel knows the rules of the Polish ice hockey scene very well, always a key asset to be able to talk to the refs, (if we ever have a ref?). My reason for Marek W, he is the bridge between the old and the new. An ex-king and also for many years participating on friday nights. He is a rock solid defenseman, and is a link for bringing the the team closer together. Also diplomatic, Still has a good relations with the Kings, and other teams.

A - Pawel T.
A - Marek W.
