Due to a dislocated thumb :( I was unable to play, I'm hopin' to return this sunday or next wednesday. Fingers crossed. However due to the lack of hockey, I needed to watch some hockey at the very least.

As I don't have satellite setup yet, I had to find a solution to watch some games. I looked around and found a pretty decent solution. (free) I'm not sure if any of you are using this, but it won't hurt to share again if this has been mentioned. If this is a repeat I apologize.

All games are broadcast live, however not all NHL games are shown - about 4 games a night :) I believe that should satisfy even the biggest addict. ;)

For those that don't have access to broadband internet, I will be more than happy to record a game here and there, just let me know.

Requirements: Computer
Internet (broadband preferred)
Willingness to stay up :) (recording is available)

Instructions:

1) Download TVUPlayer
here --> http://dl.tvunetworks.com/TVUPlayer2.2.1beta23.zip

2) Install.

3) go to schedule of available games
here --> http://www.myp2p.eu/NHL.htm

4) look at schedule (game times are EST so please add 5 hours)

5) Start TVUplayer and choose NHL or NHL2 from available channels) On TVUplayer they are usually channel 100025 and 10028

6) While waiting for game to start open favourite beverage.

NOTE: There is a method of recording these broadcasts, but it gets a little more tricky, if you need help please feel free to contact me ;)

I'm hoping that when I get settled down in Warsaw and have nice pipe to the Net, we can setup better quality video feeds for this.

Hope this helps, see you all soon.

Jacob
