It has a deeper, intellegent look to its bright green eyes, but nothing completely decipherable. It sits down by the edge, gazing at its reflection in the water. A turrent of water obscures its reflection, and when it reappears, it is no longer a cat at all. In its place is the reflection of a somber-looking fey. Her still bright green eyes have a far-away and regretful look to them as they stare down in the water. Her wavey honey-coloured hair falls down around her shoulders with a few locks braided and twined with twany vines. She's grown thinner, though, and paler. She has a tired look to her that she never noticed before. A look of mortal aging. Really, it doesn't surprise her. She's seen it happen to other of the Gentry, for different reasons. Some fall in love with a mortal and wish to end their life when their mortal lover does. Some are Cursed and become mortal themselves. But still others never truly become mortal... they simply ade away... She touches her cheek, unconsciously to make sure she's still solid. She didn't know how long it would take for her. Some fey Fade within weeks, others decades. The idea of herself Fading both frightened her and relieved her. But... she had regrets. That she had never told him. That she had never had an elven offspring, only kittens, none of whom took an elven form. She would miss Life, but she wasn't afraid of Nothingness. The Phooka dips her hand in the river, letting the water rush through her fingers. Home. If I am Fading, she thinks, though completely frivilously–she knows she is, I need to Reconnect... Slowly, she lowers herself into the water, until she's completely submerged. The river becomes alive around her. The normally concealed gills appear behind her jaw, and her hands and feet web.
