can anyone help me find out my ancestors regiment, his regiment number and when and where he enlisted, his name was charles walsham smith and he served somewhere between 1881 and 1920, he made the rank of captain in 1898 he was stationed at Woolwich and was a quartermaster sergeant in 68 field battery royal artillery. I do have a photo of him on a horse and in a captains uniform but they are both very faded. any help would be appreciated.
