副私穩專員林永康停職

個人資料私隱專員吳斌表示，被指涉嫌濫用公帑的副專員林永康明日起暫停職務，但薪金續發。

吳斌說，鑒於當局正調查林永康履行職務時的操守，經考慮所有情況後，認為現時讓他繼續行使權力及執行職務，並不符合公眾利益，所以指示林永康暫時毋須上班。吳斌強調措施是為了方便調查工作及保障公署利益。他暫時不可進入公署，直至另行通告。

原定於明日結束休假的林永康涉嫌在前年署任專員五個月期間，利用公帑前往澳洲探望妻兒。
