I have been asked to post my experience with tying my frenulum so here it is not sugar coated.

I am not a patient person so I only gave stretching about a week with no results before seeking further options, and that's when I found frenulum tying and probably like many of y'all I soon found there was very little information on the subject available so I decided go for broke and put in my first stitch. Well I cleaned the area well sanitized all my stuff picked out the spot for the stitch (I thought it would only take one) and numbed it with ice a few deep breaths and POP stuck in the needle only to find that it didn't hurt like I expected. I had went just under where the skin was made tight and went white when the skin was force fully retracted. I tied my first surgeons knot as best I could and anxiously awaited the out come. Well the first night I was amazed at how little pain there was but by the second night it was hurting a bit, I never had any swelling or infection or anything like that but it was painful to retract the skin to even look at the knot. That rocked on for about three days then I noticed the knot was loose enough that it would slide side to side as it had cut enough to free itself up quit a bit. It was then that I reread all the info I had found and realized I had forgotten to soak it (which best I can tell mostly help with the pain when retracted but hasn't seemed to speed the process). so I started soaking it and it was almost painless to the touch right after each soak and had gotten down to an almost thread thin piece of skin left. So after a soak I was inspection the stitch and that piece of skin snapped and it was very painful and shocking, but after a few minutes there was no pain there was never any blood and no amount of movement brought on pain so I was happy except I realized all I had done was lengthen it some not near to the extent I wanted and would have to do a second stitch. Well a few days later eager to get to the final result I decided to put in my second and hopefully last stitch so I cleaned and numbed the area and thinking I knew what to expect jammed the needle through the new spot I had picked out just below a big vein and found that the deeper you go the worse it hurts but I got it in with little pain all things considered and thought everything would go about the same as before. Only this time I was going through a lot more skin, so in about three days it had cut a lot but the knot was loose and it seemed to be trying to heal back behind the stitch as it pulled through. So I cut that stitch out and put in a new one about noon on the 4th day. Well around nine that night I was looking in amazed at how much cutting the newly tied stitch did in those few short hours and by this time I had started photographing my results so as I tried to get the skin stretch enough to show the piece of skin left (about 2-3mm) it snapped and sent sharp pains through my whole body as I had been pulling very hard because I discovered dermaplast which numbs the area so I didn't realize how hard I was pulling. well there was a little blood but I was happy because I had just cut a big vein with no trouble. The only problem was I realized I wanted more retraction even though I had gained a lot I wanted more, so there would have to be another stitch. so I waited a few weeks ( and got a little use out of my penis for a change :-) as I'd been stitched or in some forum of recovery for about three weeks at that point) and inserted my third (hopefully my last) stitch I videoed the procedure and I went right up against the shaft to help ensure I wouldn't have to do a fourth well that deep it wasn't just one little flap of skin in was down to where the skin v's then spreads to rap around the rest of the penis, so it was hart to put the stitch in and it hurt worse than either of the other but as soon as it was tied there was no pain even for the first day there was no pain and I was amazed but I'm on day three and having a moderate amount of pain now and even though I went right along the shaft and thought I couldn't go any deeper either I was wrong or the stitch is healing behind itself because now there is skin between the stitch and the shaft so I don't know if I'll need a forth. but with the pain I've had verses the progress I've made It was completely worth all of it. It would have been worth double so if I have to do a fourth I'm still happy I've made some mistakes but all in all its worked well for me and each of my stitches have been deeper and farther away from the tip so day I of started where I put the third there would have probably been a skin tag on the glands where the was I've bee doing it kinda just cut the skin or peeled it back from the glands and only risked skin tags on the foreskin and if you have them they will most likely stretch out when the foreskin is retracted where they'd just be hanging from the glands
