Subject: Frenulum tying vein question

Hi,
So basically, having realized not so long ago that my frenulum was too short, I did some research and decided to tie it with the help of my girlfriend. So far, my girlfriend has tied my frenulum twice and each time it relieved tension. It seems like one more tying would get the job done and eradicate the issue altogether. However, I've noticed a vein running up my foreskin that gets smaller and narrower but none the less seems to connect to the head of my cock. Needless to say, I don't want to sever this vein in the process of tying my frenulum if it will cause me irreparable damage. Part of me is guessing that when circumcisions are performed, this vein is cut through. Is it just question of stopping the bleeding once this happens, or should it be completely avoided? Thanks very much
