Subject: BXO MY STORY

I was diagnosed with bxo in 2003,the foreskin was tight and intercourse was difficult. The urologist at my local hospital did not consider any other treatment but circumcision,i excepted his diagnosis but questioned what the cause may be for BXO,his reply was quite suprising "oh its just bad luck".I left feeling very depressed. When the letter came through with a date for the op,i had already decided to cancel as i could not except this could not be reversed.
I looked at several sites and forums but with no help.
I decided it was time to do my own study, and it seemed that almost everyone was concerned only with the treatment and not the cause of BXO.My environment and lifestyle had not changed,so i started to look at diet and food.As a chef I have been very concerned for some time as to the effects of chemicals on our food,so was there a connection? I peeled all fruit & veg also I stopped putting slices of lemon in tea & gin&tonic which contain a cocktail of chemicals in the wax coating, within 1month I noticed an improvement, after 4yrs i have had little or no trouble.Hygiene as always is very important.
Unfortunately there not enough space on site for full story, but hope this will help.
