Hello Dave,

If you cannot retract freely when erect, and without pain or fear, then you definately have one of the forms of "phimosis"

Phimosis is such a general word - it decribes a number of different causes. Most usual is either a phimotic ring or frenulum breve or indeed a combination of these two. If you can retract your foreskin when flaccid then you should be able to diagnose exactly what the problem is. I suspect you have a mixture of these two ... but please check this yourself.

I realise it is all very mysterious for you at present ... and I believe this is why so many ancient cultures simply invented the all cure of circumcision ... life`s problems needed simple practical solutions ...

Even these days, without an accurate diagnosis you will be at the mercy of the doctors most of whom have never studied phimosis and will offer the all-cure circumcision to relieve the problem.

Also if it is difficult to restore to the forwards position then it is a form of paraphimosis.

Please go to www.male-initiation.net/phimosis_summary.html ... and follow through to the pages on diagnosis if necessary and find out exactly what is hindering erectile retraction.

Then get to the treatment pages ... and then perhaps is then time to come back and ask a few more questions

cheers
Robin
