Hi! I have a few questions regarding the frenular artery.

Is it present inside each and every intact frenulum and what exactly is its purpose? If not, how can one check for its presence? (btw, after a few tears & heals, my frenulum now looks like this one) Does this artery go through the center of frenulum from its beginning up to the glans or it runs say horizontally through only a small part of the frenulum? In the tying up method, should this artery also be tied in a knot, or you need to crush only the tissue below (deeper) or above it? (later makes no sense though..) As I understand it, a knot would make it seal off (would strangle it), in a similar way to cauterization, right? If so, what are the consequences of doing that, blocking an artery? And what if one ties the knot too strong and damage the artery right away?

Thanks!
