Some have said they get more pleasure as with the frenulum cut it exposes more of the sensitive skin that's under the head which is normally blocked from contact by the bent head and frenulum.

The doc I saw wanted to cut out a large section of the frenulum which might have reduced sensation. However the tying does not really remove any tissue, it just splits it.

Cutting the frenulum won't help the tight foreskin over the head, but it seems people have had good luck with that by applying the creme and stretching. Doctor's orders: More masturbation! :-)
