Subject: how to make boot toppers/cuffs

I know this has to relatively simple, however, I've never seen a boot cuff up close, thus, I'm not sure where to start. I sew very little (obviously.) Needed to top a pair of go go boots to complete a casual wear outfit. Thanks.

Here is what I did, I measured around the boot and then I cut my fabric about an inch or tow longer than what I needed. For the width of it, I just doubled it. I did a tiny hem on the bottom of the cuff that would be on the outside of the boot, then I folded the piece in half lengthwise and pressed it so I would have a nice crease. I used velcro to secure it in place. Hope this helps!

Thanks. I'll give it a try. At least I have a place to start.
