Rose pretty much covered everything I would've said, but I just wanna add my 2¢.
First, don't think that if we don't want to read story quizzes, that automatically means that we don't want to read stories in general. There are people on the site making real quizzes that are writers themselves. I myself hope to be a writer one day. I like reading a good story, but when I go to Quizilla, I expect to take a fun quiz, not read another's writing.
If you want to become a writer, I wish you the very best of luck. If you want to publish your writings on a public site, go for it, and I hope people enjoy your works. But Quizilla was not made for posting your stories. I can see you enjoy the ego stroking factor of the ratings, most popular list, and messages, but that doesn't mean you should use it to make yourself feel good about your writing. Going to an appropriate story publishing site will give you many more compliments that a quiz site ever can.
And if your works are fanfiction, I was told that Fanfiction.net is great for fanfic writers. It allows a better review feature, and it prevents others from copying your works to be claimed as thier own. I've seen that this has been a large amount of trouble among the fanfic writers posting at Quizilla, and FF.net will help solve it easily.
Finally, in addition to what Rose has said, Quizilla would be just as active, if not more so, without story quizzes. I was a member of the site for a few years, and when I first got here, there were plenty of real quizzes to take, and we all enjoyed using Quizilla for what it was made for. I wandered off the site for some time, and when I came back, the site had been overtaken by stories. Everyone who wants to take a real quiz has to sort through page after page of stories, poems, and memos, only to get a small handful of actual quizzes. And of those, most are either not working for one reason or another, or they're another member's version of a quiz that's been done hundreds of times before.(How many "What's your element?" quizzes have shown up in the past week alone?) If the stories were gone, the people who make and take the real quizzes would all be able to enjoy the site again, and the site's activity wouldn't suffer.
I hope you understand what we're saying. It's not that we don't like your writing. It just that it doesn't belong on a quiz site.
