In addition to fanfiction.net and fictionpress.com, there are many other sites that allow free story submission. I did a quick search through Google's directory and found these:

Fanfiction specific:

Probably one of the best fanfic sites I found, and I highly recomend this one. Among other features, it allows rating of specific parts of the story, such as writing style and enjoyment. Other features include a very good info box with each fanfic, summaries for your fiction, the ability to list an indvidual fic or author under a "favorites" list, a very easy to navigate chapter system, and a wonderful review system. Also takes original works and fanart. I don't really care much for fanfic, but even I would definatly come to this site on a regular basis to check out the stories. I'm even half-tempted to join the site myself, at least for the original works section.

Very good site with lots of categories. Even allows MSTs, which I find amusing.

Another great one. Mostly fanfic-based, but also allows original works, fan art, and other fun stuff.

I suggest everyone pass these sites along to the Quizilla story writers, or anyone you think could use these sites, for that matter. If you only want to send one, I once again would highly suggest Fanfics.org. That looks like the best bet to me. I hope this helps the writers go to the correct sites.
