Here's a list of things that I find relevant to my daily life, in no certain order:
1. Enjoying a delicious sandwich. I'm not talking peanut butter and jelly, I'm talking salsalito turkey breast, exotic mustards of some sort, sprouts, fancy pickles. Aged cheddar cheese.
2. Taking a nice nap. Like, when you fall asleep watching some decent G on G on a four-hour, loopable DVD. You know, right before you have to be somewhere important, like work.
3. Reading while taking a dump. Not a quick dump. A soul-rendering, life-load lifting, 10 pounder. A double flusher.
4. Watching someone fall. Come on, admit it. It's funny. As long as they don't get hurt, you know?
5. Drinking nearly frozen bottled water. So cold it hurts your teeth on its way to cooling off your innards.
6. Actually watching a little G on G on a four-hour loopable DVD. Or some A2M. Especially the half hour or so before the nap.
7. Proving other people wrong. All day, every day if possible. Making people look stupid. Pointing out their shortcomings to shield my own. That kind of stuff. Man, I think that's why I like this board so much. No, no, no. I'm not a jerk like the rest of you. I'm better than all of you. All of you. I'm not bitter. I don't wish you all the worse just because I no longer at the Times-Leader. Oh, wait, I sometimes do feel that way. I don't hate you all because I hate myself. Or, do I? I've proven myself so much better than you all, in fact, that I have no problem using my name on here. Actually, I don't want to use my name on here. On account of the A2M and G on G references, of course.

I'm done with this board.

>>I'd like you to prove that you actually know something
>>about the newspaper business. It seems to me that, if
>>you *do* know something about the business, and you're
>>content to stay at the TL to piss and moan, then you
>>may think you know the business, but you know nothing
>>about committment to the career or to your readers.

>>On the other hand, if you are *not* at the TL, yet

>>irrelevant, all the same, because you offer nothing

>>Now, why don't you get back to work and spread a
>>little of your sunshine.
