Any truly strong editor who evaluates the TL newsroom and product will tell you no one in the current newsroom can reinvigorate it with what it needs. Leadership, vision and great journalism. The newspaper is truly pedestrian. It's stories are thin, poorly reported. Only superficial stuff. You want real journalism? You'll have to go outside. And as the other person said, what good editor in his or her right mind would want it. I mean, reading some of these posts tell you a lot about the calibre of journalists on the staff. Sure, they may be some good ones. But, God does it need a complete overhaul.
