Most of the people who were part of the so-called heyday of the 80s have gone on either to work at larger papers (Philadelphia, Norfolk, Allentown, Harrisburg, among others) or are out of the business and working human being hours. Allison certainly didn't give them any reason to stay, but then again, most of those who have moved on to better things were not trained or mentored by Allison, but by Duncan, Griffith, Schectman and Wasser, for the most part. They're the ones who made the paper what it was then, in spite of her presence.
