I never worked for Pam, just in the same newsroom as her And I always got the feeling she didn't like me. But still, she seemed competent and honest and forthright. Most endearing of all, she was her own woman, with a family and a master's degree and a newspaper background from beyond Bloomsburg and not a mindless sycophant like so many other editors (two words: Malina and Lacoe) in there.

And I suspect if Pam were still working there, she would tell her reporters the real story behind what happened to Allison, rather than lie and evade like the current crop of "editors" there.
