June 5 is celebrated as World Environment Month pursuant to UN General Assembly Resolution No. 2994 dated 15 December 1972 which urges all governments and the organizations of the UN system to undertake on said day activities re-affirming their concern for the preservation and enhancement of the environment with a view to deepening environmental awareness.

due to public demand, we've been searching for your email add because on June 03, The Philippines through the dept of environment(DENR) will celebrate this year�s Environment Month with the theme �Beat the Heat! Let Us Work Towards a Safer Climate�. The kick-off event will be the �Padyak Para sa Kalikasan�. The biking event is intended to be a collective effort towards promoting and attracting interest in the urgent need to save the environment and mitigate climate change.
