I have heard a lot of negative comments on this message board. You all need to give the new management a chance to provide a turn around. I have been around this track since the early eighties and have worked as an official in the early nineties under the promotion of Ken Coventry. Ken Coventry knows how to promote a race track. Give it a chance. Most of you know how expensive it is to own a car, well think of how expensive the entire race track can be. Insurance alone can break a race track. Be thankful the new management at Madera Speedway has given us a place locally to still race. For the guys and gals who race here, this is a hobby not a way to make a living. So if you can't have fun, you need to consider another hobby.
